The extraction of gold by Artisanal and Small-Scale Miners (ASGM) relies hugely on the use of mercury. However, the World is now fighting for elimination of mercury by 2030 due to its serious environmental impacts.
TIES has positioned itself very well in this challenge and will enable ASGM operators move from the use of mercury to environmentally friendly technologies. In overall,
TIES offers the following services to ASGM:
- Technical advice on geology, mining and processing of various minerals to ensure projects are economically feasible.
- Manufacturing of equipments to be used for Carbon in Pulp/Leach (CIP/CIL) technology such as Ball Mills, Agitators, Elution columns and Stainless-steel CIL/CIP Tanks.
- Converting VAT Leaching tank system to CIP/CIL tank system at affordable prices, with prior evaluation if your available ore material can make the operation profitable.
- Design of tailings storage facility (TSF), apply for construction permits and manage construction if you will use CIP/CIL technology
- Conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and registration of your mining and mineral processing project to NEMC for environmental compliance certificates for your mining or any other project.
- Assist in obtaining all government permits for your mining and mineral processing project.
