Selemani has more than 15 years’ experience as a mining engineer. He has extensive experience in Design and planning for the short and medium-term underground polymetallic mines. He has previously worked as short Term Mine Planner and Design engineer for Nyrstar Myra Falls, British Columbia Canada, from 2011 to 2015.

He has also an extensive experience in the application of key Mining engineering software such Mine Planning and Design (Surpac, GEMS & Promine), Rockscience (Dips, Swedge, Unwedge) and Programming (VBA).

He holds BSc. Mining engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam and MSc. degree in Mining Engineering from the University of British Columbia in Canada. He is a registered professional engineer with Tanzania Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as well as a member of the Institution of Engineers Tanzania (IET).
