Mambosasa Hussein is an experienced Geologist and Mine Site Manager with strong expertise in mineral exploration, core logging, and mining operations management. He has hands-on experience in geological mapping, grade control, drilling supervision, and ensuring efficient and safe mining practices.
He has extensive experience in managing mining projects, including workforce coordination, financial analysis, safety compliance, and stakeholder engagement. His work involves overseeing site operations, developing tracking systems for ore extraction, and implementing quality control (QA/QC) procedures to ensure accurate geological data and minimize operational losses.
He has worked on various mining and exploration projects in Tanzania, including gold and phosphate exploration, as well as limestone drilling programs. His experience spans artisanal and large-scale mining environments, where he has contributed to resource identification, sampling, and process improvement.
He is skilled in geological data interpretation, stratigraphic analysis, drilling operations supervision, and the use of tools such as GIS and logging software. He also has strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with teams, communities, and stakeholders.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Oil and Gas Engineering from Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Geology and Mineral Exploration from the Mineral Resources Institute, Dodoma.
